Composite Fillings
White coloured fillings made of a composite resin material. Fillings are used to restore teeth that were damaged by decay (cavities) back to their normal shape and function. White fillings blend more easily with the rest of a tooth so they are not noticeable.
Crowns
These are used to fix teeth that have been broken, weakened by deep decay or contain a very large filling. These may be a good solution if you have large discoloured fillings and you want to make them look better in your smile. Crowns are also necessary to cap and protect back teeth that have had root-canal treatments. Crowns can be made of all-porcelain, or porcelain with a metal substructure, or gold.
Veneers
These are custom-made layers of thin porcelain that can be fitted over the surface of a tooth, much like a false nail or a contact lens. Porcelain veneers can be a good option to give a nice even smile, closing small gaps in teeth, giving straight edges and a nice uniform colour to all the teeth. Veneers can be placed on one tooth or multiple teeth, depending on the desired effect.
Tooth whitening
This very popular treatment is simple and minimally invasive, to give a brighter and more youthful smile. Home-whitening kits involve placing a gel on your teeth at night, for 1-4 weeks. The kits are custom-made to fit your teeth perfectly, for the safest application of the whitening gel. The gel contains a type of bleach that can safely break down stains within your enamel.
Root Canal Treatments
This is needed when the nerve channels inside your tooth become infected through tooth decay or damaged by an injury to your mouth. If not treated, this infection may spread through the root and could eventually lead to an abscess, which can be painful. Usually the only other option for abscessed teeth is to remove them. Root canal treatment aims to stop any pain or infection by removing the sore part of the nerve and cleaning any bacteria out of the inside of the tooth, and therefore preventing the need for extraction.
Bridges
These are used to replace one or more missing teeth in the same area of your mouth. They “bridge the gap” or “span the space” where some teeth are missing. They attach to healthy teeth on either side of the “gap”. Bridges are usually made of porcelain, with a strong metal substructure.
Composite bonding
This popular treatment involves placing tooth-coloured resin (like the white filling material) along the edges of teeth, or sometimes over the whole front surface of teeth, to make them look more even, straight, and bright. It is helpful for teeth that have minor chips in the edges, or teeth that have unusual shapes or small gaps. It can be done in a single visit, but does require maintenance polishing to keep it looking its best.
Mouthguards
Custom-made sports mouthguards can be used for prevention of injury to teeth during sports.

Custom-made night-guards are used to prevent tooth-wear damage that can be caused by grinding your teeth at night, which most of us do to some extent. These are also recommended for anyone who has composite bonding or veneers on front teeth to help prevent damage to the new restorations.
Extractions
Some teeth may have suffered too much damage from decay or breakage, so if they can’t be fixed with fillings, crowns or root-canals, then some may have to be removed. For orthodontics, some people’s teeth may be too crowded in their mouth, and if there is not enough space to straighten them, then some healthy teeth may have to be removed if the person really wants straight teeth. X-rays will always be taken of any teeth being considered for removal, and the area around the tooth will be well numbed with anaesthetic.
Orthodontics
Invisalign
Suitable for older teenagers and adults. They are a thin, clear plastic that sits over your teeth, so they are very discreet. No one needs to know you are getting your teeth straightened – unless you choose to tell! They can be removed for eating and brushing, so you don’t need to avoid any foods, and can clean your teeth as normal. You do need to brush your teeth more often each day, and reduce snacking, for these to be effective. They are to be worn all day and night. Invisalign can straighten teeth in as little as 4 months in some cases, but can take about a year in other cases
Fixed train track braces
Fixed braces are suitable for teens of any age, and adults. These can be made of metal or ceramic. The metal braces are the most common. The ceramic braces work in exactly the same way but are less noticeable on your teeth, so many adults opt for this instead of metal. Fixed braces are used for more comprehensive straightening of teeth, where you may need significant changes made to your bite, or if teeth were very crowded to begin with, then removing a few teeth may be necessary.
Facial Aesthetics
Anti-wrinkle treatment
Anti-wrinkle injections are a safe, quick and effective anti-ageing treatment. Botulinum Toxin is used to relax the facial muscles which normally cause lines and wrinkles. Common areas to have treated include the forehead, frown and around the eyes, however there are other areas which can also be treated.
Profhilo
Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment which induces the production of collagen naturally within your skin. This helps to hydrate your skin and improve the texture to reduce skin laxity and restore firmness in the skin.
Dermal fillers
Dermal filler can be used for a range of treatments including lip augmentation, facial contouring and facial volumisation to reduce the signs of ageing. Common areas to have treated include lips, smoker’s lines, nasolabial lines, marionette lines and cheeks.
